Chronic Knee Pain
I first went to my chiropractor for treatment on my injured hip. That was dealt with quickly and effectively. Then he discovered my very sore knees that I had learned to live with for the past 20 years. For the past six months we have been working on them and I can now do squats which is something I had given up on doing a very long time ago. After each treatment my knees feel "alive" and I have less pain in them with a much larger range of motion. I find myself lifting more with my legs rather than my back. I am also able to bend with my knees when just picking things up from the ground. These all sound like normal, every day occurrences, but for me it is as if I have been given my knees back!

My chiropractor's Trigenics and active myofascial release techniques, combined with manual stretching, his new orthotics, and his weekly "Core Essentials Class" have improved my sore knees to the point where I can walk quickly and painlessly, resume moderate sessions of intermediate level figure skating, work out, run short distances and garden on uneven ground for full days. Prior to his treatment over the past 20 months (intermittent visits after the first assessment and treatments), my knees had become stiff and painful from 60 years of heavy use (including high alpine hiking and 10K racing) and cumulative injury, compounded by a lack of true understanding of stretching techniques. I had contemplated knee surgery, and medication for arthritis had been prescribed. He has been able to give me information which I can use myself to remain flexible and balanced and avoid further injury. Without his help in working toward proper alignment it would be very be very difficult for me to maintain a relatively high level of fitness.

Upper Leg Pain
When I first saw my chiropractor I had a condition with my upper left leg
that left me very sore after sitting for short periods of time. This condition
had been progressively worsening over the previous 6 months. During that time
I had been under the care of a sports medicine doctor who had prescribed first
physiotherapy and then massage therapy to rectify the problem. The physiotherapy
in my opinion exasperated the condition and the massage therapy only provided
short-term relief.
I met my chiropractor at the Gym where he consults and was impressed by his ability to identify my problem areas after a very brief assessment. I followed this up with a visit to his clinic and he recommended the Trigenics program. I signed up for 10 sessions. During each session we’d discuss the results from the previous session and fine-tune the exercises.
In total I had 13 sessions over 2 months and the results were very good. I feel much stronger, more flexible and my balance has improved.
I have since been relocated back to Australia and have every intention of continuing with a Trigenics program here. I would encourage anyone to give this treatment a try.
