Before seeing Dr. Cleland I had suffered from regular bouts of lower back and pelvic pain. I was always uneasy and quite fearful of having my back “cracked” by a chiropractor. I tried traditional medicine, medications, physiotherapy and stretching to no avail. I finally decided to give Dr. Cleland a call. On the first visit, I was able to relay my fears and was relieved to find that Dr. Cleland very open and willing to work with me. We established an understanding that he would not do anything that I wasn’t comfortable with. On the initial visit we also discussed my expectations and his ability to help. We ended with an agreed upon plan of care. What impressed me the most was how much of my input Dr. Cleland wanted and respected. Before my treatments began I could hardly go through a day without experiencing limiting back or pelvic pain. It disrupted my life. Now I feel comfortable and confident pursuing any activity without hesitation. Dr. Cleland has helped me to get my physically active life back.
